The network is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community.
The group has been set up by Mike Fisher, Head of Technical (London) at A2Dominion, and Fergal Joyce, Technical Manager at A2Dominion.
Mike is a member of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Network (EDIN) and Fergal is a representative for the A2Dominion Collaborative Forum (ACF).
Mike said: “The LGBTQ+ Network is run by employees for employees; this means that people can reach out across the organisation and collaborate with others, tap into their creativity and skills to better the way we all work, while improving outcomes and inclusivity.
“This helps to create a strong sense of community, trust and empowerment within A2Dominion. The Network is both for existing employees and new employees whether they identify as LGBTQ+ or are keen allies and should help us attract and retain more talent into the future.”
LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer. The ‘+’ represents other groups within the wider community, such as those who are Pansexual, Agender and Gender Queer.

New LGBTQ+ Network launched for our colleagues

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new LGBTQ+ Network during Pride Month 2022.
The network will create a safe space for members and provide a sense of belonging, improve awareness and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community.
