Jo previously held the position of Director of Specialist Housing at the Group before taking up this newly-created position, which highlights our focus on improving the services that we provide to customers.

She joins the Repairs and Maintenance Team at a pivotal time as we continue to implement improvement plans to our customer services. Having an effective repairs service will help us to deliver upon a key part of our new strategy, which is to ensure our homes are safe, high quality and sustainable.

Jo said: “I’m really excited to take on this new opportunity to deliver positive results for our customers. This is one of the key areas that we need to improve and I hope I will be able to bring a true customer voice to the service, and get it to a place where we can be all proud of.”

Jo joined A2Dominion in 2019 as the Head of Operations in the-then Care & Support team before going onto lead the department as Director of Specialist Housing.

This is one of several new key property services leadership appointments that will be announced, and one of many steps that we have already taken to improve repairs services.

In October, we appointed Mears at our new contractor. Since then, we have changed how repairs are diagnosed and categorised at the first point of contact with customers, introduced new timescales for completing works and provided clearer communication with customers.

Earlier this month we also confirmed plans to introduce a new repairs live-tracking system to keep our customers better-informed at each stage of the process.
