Simon Potts
Director of Land & Planning
Simon has worked in the housebuilding and development industry for over 35 years, ten of which have been at A2Dominion.
He has extensive experience of planning, site acquisition, strategic land and brownfield regeneration in London and throughout the South East and has delivered a wide range of projects at different scales ranging from small infill developments to the promotion of large-scale urban extensions.
Simon has overall management responsibility for the Group’s Land & Planning Team.
Sam Macdonald
Head of Strategic Land
Sam is a commercial chartered surveyor with over 12 years’ experience in real estate. During that time, he has worked for the likes of Tesco, helping to release value in their estate, and the London Legacy Development Corporation delivering housing on the former Olympic Park at Stratford.
Sam is responsible for the identification, assessment, and legal negotiation of all new strategic sites. He also leads a team who prepare and submit complex planning applications.
Steve Hornblow
Head of Special Projects
Steve has over 30 years’ experience in development. He has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of development with a focus on large scale development and sustainability.
He has led on A2D’s NW Bicester development for 13 years. NW Bicester is the UK’s first Eco-Town and has won many awards for its pioneering approach to sustainability. Steve led on the planning process and is now focused on delivering the future phases of A2Dominion's land holdings, including placemaking and vision that will feed into planning applications.
Hannah Trubshaw
Senior Planning Manager
Hannah is a Chartered Town Planner with over 15 years’ experience in property development. Prior to joining A2Dominion 4 years ago, Hannah was in town planning consultancy working on mixed use and residential projects.
At A2Dominion Hannah sits within the Land and Planning Team working on immediate land projects both in London and the South East. Hannah manages a team of town planners and works with various stakeholders both internal and external to A2Dominion to prepare and submit planning applications.
Rowena Ovenstone
Planning Project Manager
Rowena has over 14 years’ experience of property development project management with A2Dominion, working on a variety of schemes at different stages of the development process, including previously regeneration.
Nowadays, Rowena supports all activities undertaken by the strategic land team, from site identification to planning application submissions.
Amy Saunders
Development Project Manager
Amy has over 4 years’ experience working as a project manager in A2Dominion’s Land & Planning team, with an additional 5 years’ experience within A2Dominion’s Residential Services team.
Amy is responsible for identifying development opportunities, achieving planning permissions and overseeing projects through to completion for new residential developments. A large part of Amy’s role focuses on working with hospital Trusts for keyworker housing and investigating development potential of A2Dominion’s existing housing stock.
Tim Burrow
Planning Manager
Tim is a Chartered Town Planner with over 13 years’ experience in housing development.
As Planning Manager Tim successfully navigates the planning system to achieve planning permissions for A2Dominion’s development pipeline and operational needs. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on housing matters from his background with A2Dominion to ensure that developments are optimised for viability and also meet the needs of the Local Authority and A2Ds operations departments.
Sarah Ellis
Development Manager
Sarah is a Development Manager at A2Dominion with over 10 years’ experience working in the housing development sector. Working on large-scale, mixed-use schemes, Sarah’s particular focus is on the pre-construction stages of land acquisition, JV formation, financial viability and planning applications.
Sarah has a post graduate diploma in Real Estate and is working towards MRICS chartership.
Claire Bartlett
Personal Assistant
Claire has worked as a personal assistant for 20 years, 15 of those working for A2Dominion. Claire is PA to the Director of Land & Planning and supports colleagues in the wider land team with administrative tasks, processing purchase orders and invoices.
Claire works tirelessly to support the team in everything they do and ensures seamless flow of information, ensuring a smooth and connected approach to all our work.
